I just wanted to let you know I switched my mare to Genesis feed that I buy from Olivia in Pitt Meadows.  I’m really happy with the exceptional health that shows in my mare’s coat and the sparkle in her eye!  My Radish (yes, that’s her name…) is 21 years old and has struggled with lameness issues since she came to me about three years ago.  We had some initial results by adding RecoveryEQ, but as she was eating a blend of corn, oats and bran, she really wasn’t getting enough nutrition.  My vet suggested a vit/min supplement, which helped, but still wasn’t quite enough.  In the past, I’ve often found homeopathic remedies to be very effective and although we had some good results, it wasn’t until Radish had been on the Genesis feed for about a month that she really improved.

My understanding is that a nutritional supplement or herb or homeopathy will only assist a body to heal as much as the body is capable of, so therefore, the body has to be well nourished.  Radish’s basic diet has been the key to bringing her sound because it allowed the remedy and supplement to be effective and to maintain her soundness and overall glowing health.

I've been feeding Genesis™ Certified Organic Feed to my horse and find that he maintained his weight better than ever.  Before he was a little high handed, now he has settled right down and is a pleasure to ride.  His coat is soft, sleek and shiny.  All of your feed is exactly like you say: clean and dust free.  Because the amount a horse is fed is less than normal feed, it lasts longer, it is obvious that you achieved a good nutritional balance.  Thank you Genesis™.

I just thought I'd let you know that I got results back for my 2010 season on the Heritage Classic Circuit.
 
Zone 8 Senior Champion: English Division
Zone 8 Senior Champion: Western Division
Zone 8 Senior Champion: Speed Division 
 
(Senior category is ages 18+; recieved zone Champion in each of the 3 divisions that I competed in)
 
Provincial Awards:
Senior English Equitation - Bronze Medal
Senior Showmanship - Bronze Medal
Senior Western Horsemanship - Silver Medal
 
(Recieved a medal in each of the 3 performance categories that are available)
 
These were all won with my main show horse, Socketts High Socks; she is eligible for the Saskatchewan All Around Horse Award, to be announced at the Sask Horse Federation awards banquet on March 5.
 
We also won Provincial Western Pleasure at the Sask Riding Club Association Provincial Finals, as well as several North East Riding Club year-end awards.
 
This has been easily our best year ever, and our first year on Genesis Performance Plus! I don't think that was a coincidence! Her energy and stamina were better, she seemed healthier and happier, and she looked incredible!
 
Ok...done bragging. But I honestly believe the feed made a difference.

I was introduced to Genesis through Dr. Robert Folkard, who had done extensive research and started feeding Genesis to his own horses.  I could see he was very pleased with what he was witnessing taking place in his horses.

I've successfully barrel raced for 41 years and always tried to be aware of what we fed our horses.  At this point I was sitting in second in the Ontario standings, and it was just 3 weeks till our finals.  I was somewhat apprehensive to try a new feed with show season so near to an end.  I told no one that I was going to switch to Genesis but my husband and Debbie Folkard, Dr. Folkard's wife, as she was my secret source.  If there was going to be a change in my mares performance I wanted a bias opinion.

In the following three weeks I realized, she was not as high strung entering the ring, times were becoming much faster, complete attitude change at shows and home, but best of all eating her grain at shows, (this she rarely did).

At the Ontario Barrel Racing and National Barrel Horse Association Canada finals we won the Sweepstakes, bringing home a saddle, being high point.  She also placed in the top five in all other events we entered.  I could not believe how she had excelled.

I was asked a multitude of times what I had given her and what changes I had done to as others noticed the changes in her.

I'm into my fourth month Feb. 2009, feeding Genesis and I have noticed she has much more muscle tone and her hooves are in the best condition ever.  Never could I let her go barefoot, as she had very shaley hooves and always broke up.  Has not had shoes on for three months and not a crack or default in her feet.

"Bet On The Bug". will be 14 years old this year and can't wait for show season.  We have been feeding our other four horses Genesis through the winter as well, they all look great, ages 29, 23, 7 & 6.

I hope my testimonial will inspire horse owners to give Genesis a try.  I'm not saying it will make every horse a winner but I'm suggesting it will give them chance to become the best horse to their ability.

Thank you Genesis for the opportunity to feed my horses an all natural feed and know I'm riding a healthy, happy horse.

Casey and I rode in a timed Hunter Pace (approximately 8 miles) on the Memorial Day holiday last Monday and were first in the Open Division and Champions in the overall.  I won't take the chance on feeding her anything else!  Thanks for your help!
